AREA ADVISORY COMMITTEES
The CCT Project Area Advisory Committees (AAC) were created by the Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA) to encourage involvement from the community regarding the design and construction of the CCT Project: Phase I transitway as well as how the stations will be incorporated into the existing community. Decisions on the system design were informed through facilitated discussions at quarterly meetings. Topics of discussion included station design amenities, traffic management, transit operations, safety and security, transitway access, and community interface. Three Area Advisory Committees were formed.
The Area Advisory Committees have completed their work for the preliminary design and environmental analysis stage of the CCT Project: Phase I. The Area Advisory Committee Report is available below.
